Wee Knits for the Little People

I am so excited to take a little ‘side step’ from the Sweater Series. Don’t worry - plenty of sweater content is coming. But I have popped in rather spontaneously with a lovely relaxing class focussed on Baby Knits. It’s been a delightful diversion in my own knitting - and I wanted to share it in a workshop format with all of you.

In 4 classes, running from May 9 - July 11, we will knit the baby knits of your choosing for the 0-12 month wee people. I will share my favorite baby knits designers and yarns and why I love them when you sign up. And you can knit how many and whichever designs you like over a couple of months with me and each other.

This will be a more free flowing format than my sweater series, but no less packed with ideas, inspiration and support. We will meet once a month and be in contact in between, making bonnets and blankies and anything in else that you choose from the curated collection. There will be a focus on practicality and respect for both babies and their parents. I hope you will join us at Fiber Circle Studio in Petaluma.

And for those of you wondering about more sweaters …. never fear. Fall Sweater Series classes are planned and ready! Curious Constructions will feature 4 very curious constructions of gorgeous and unusual sweaters and First Fitted Sweater will bring us back to how to be successful in understanding how to make your sweater fit you perfectly in the way YOU uniquely want it to. Stay tuned for sign ups to open for those. They will be located at Fiber Circle Studio and run from September - December.
