Pacific Knitting Retreats is the brainchild of Gayle Ravenscroft, a Northern California knitter.

An Instagram stalker, she dreamed of all the knitters and all the places to escape and knit and learn as they scrolled across the screen every day.

Then the realization dawned that she lived in one of the 'places' and was surrounded by all of the 'knitters'.  So ... why not host a series of retreats right in her own Nor Cal backyard!  She invited some of her favorite people, they said 'yes' and Pacific Knitting Retreats was born.

Along with Retreats that span multiple days, Pacific Knitting Retreats hosts one day events that focus on specific subjects and are hosted in special places. Gayle has a regular schedule of workshops and classes and enjoys hosting groups of knitters traveling through the Bay Area for lessons. Small groups in lovely surroundings, well nourished and supported to learn new skills and deepen knowledge is the culture of Pacific Knitting Retreats.

I have found great joy in meeting and working with new (to me) knitters and yarn folks; and strengthening my connection with my existing network. I am grateful for the support and encouragement we have shared with each other. I am excited to continue to grow together.
